Hola, I'm Cindy!
Spanish tutor, journalist, wife, mom — and a Spanish speaker who became bilingual as an adult.
I'm a Spanish tutor and journalist by profession, originally from Colombia. Spanish is my first language, and I became bilingual as an adult after moving to the United States.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Social Communication in Colombia, a Spanish-speaking country, and went on to spend more than a decade as a reporter and news anchor in U.S. television, telling stories and informing Spanish-speaking communities.
Today, as a wife, mom, and Spanish tutor, I'm passionate about helping families make Spanish a natural part of everyday life — through conversation, play, stories, culture, and connection.
Spanish From the Heart grew from something very personal: wanting my daughter to grow up feeling completely at home in both of her languages. I often tell her that speaking Spanish is her superpower. She always reminds me that English is her superpower too. And she's right — being bilingual is her superpower. That's what I want to help more children discover: the confidence, connection, and possibilities that come with growing up bilingual.

What ages is the membership for?
The materials are designed for children roughly ages 3–11, with activities you can adapt to your child's stage.
Do I need to speak Spanish to use the membership?
No. Every monthly package includes parent-friendly instructions, pronunciation support, simple vocabulary, and phrases you can use with your child — whether your family is bilingual, learning together, or starting from zero.
What is included each month?
Each month you'll receive a complete themed learning unit with Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies activities, vocabulary, printable materials, games, book recommendations, conversation prompts, and a parent guide.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. The membership is month-to-month and you can cancel whenever you like.
How does this relate to the in-person co-op?

Are live classes included?
